Shehzada Box Office Report: Kartik Aaryan’s latest release Shehzada has so far continued it’s struggle at the box office and has shown no sign of growth since it’s release on February 17. The film had managed to earn Rs. 20.20 crore nett in it’s first weekend and weekdays have also brought very little cheer to the makers.
Shehzada further recorded a huge drop on Monday and earned Rs. 2.25 crore. While on Tuesday the collection dropped even further to Rs. 1.85 crore. On Wednesday and Thursday it earned Rs. 1.60 crore and 1.54 crore. Shehzada’s total first week collection now stands at mere Rs. 27.44 crore.
Shehzada is said to be made on a budget of Rs. 65 crore, and looking at such poor box office report despite positive response to the trailer and songs, it even looks difficult for the film to cross Rs. 40 crore.
Considering the fact that it was a solo release, and the film had no big competition from other regional films, this is a very disappointing box office report for Kartik Aaryan who is returning to the big screen after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which emerged as a blockbuster.
About Shehzada: The masala entertainer which also stars Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Sachin Khedekar, and Manisha Koirala was released in theatres on February 17. The film’s release was postponed by a week owing to the success of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
An official remake of a Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2019), Shehzada tells a story of a young man whose life turns upside down when he learns that he is a biological son a billionaire industrialist.
