Kartik Aaryan Signs Aashiqui 3: Twitter Users Give Mixed Reactions

Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame Kartik Aaryan is currently ruling the box office. Even when the Bollywood industry is going through a rough patch, Kartik managed to break records this year with his masala entertainer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He is a busy actor now. According to the latest reports, Kartik has now signed the popular Aashiqui franchise. Kartik will now be seen playing the lead in Aashiqui 3 directed by Anurag Basu.

As the reports came out, Twitter users expressed their opinions on Kartik’s casting. While the majority has hailed and congratulated Kartik, some have also called him a ‘mediocre actor. Check out a few tweets:

Aashiqui 3 will be a romantic saga directed by Anurag Basu and produced by T-Series. It will be a part of T-Series’ ambitious 100-film slate.

The Aashiqui franchise was launched in 1990 directed by Mahesh Bhatt, starring Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal. It was revived in 2013 with Aashiqui 2, directed by Mohit Suri and starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, which was a huge hit at the box office.

Meanwhile, Kartik has wrapped up the shoot of Shehzada. It is an action drama film starring Kartik with Kriti Sanon. The film will release in Feb 2023.

Meanwhile, Kartik has recently begun shooting for SatyaPrem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani. It is their second collaboration after blockbuster film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
