Luka Chuppi 2 actor Kartik Aaryan is busy promoting his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Recently, during an interview, the actor opened up about his fallout with filmmaker Karan Johar after being ousted from Dostana 2.
In a new interview, Kartik Aaryan was asked if his differences with the industry people could cost him work as he is not from a filmy background. Responding to this, the actor said, “I just focus on my work. That’s all I would like to say on this. Look at my (film) line-up (right now).”
He was also asked about the rumors about a few industry insiders creating a lobby against him. He replied, “What happens, at times, is people make ‘baat ka batangad’ (make a mountain out of a molehill). There is nothing more to it. No one has so much time (to think so much). Everybody just wants to work, do good work. Other than that, things are just rumors.”

For the unversed, the actor and Dharma Productions were working on Dostana 2 before the fallout. In a statement issued after the fallout, Dharma refused to divulge details and said that it would maintain a ‘dignified silence’ on the matter. As per the media reports, Karan had removed Kartik from the film because of his unprofessional behavior. The reports also suggested that he had an ugly fight with co-star Janhvi Kapoor because of which their friendship ended in January and they both are not on talking terms. However, there is no official confirmation about the same.
Kartik is currently promoting his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film is a follow-up to Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The sequel stars Kiara Advani and Tabu. And recently the title song of the film has also been released by the makers. On the work front, the actor will be seen in films ‘Shehzada’, ‘Freddy, and ‘Captain India’.
