Kartik Aaryan is currently riding high on the success of his latest release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He is also considered one of the biggest stars in the industry right now with successful projects when movies are struggling to impress audiences. Kartik is the only actor whose film has crossed the 200 crore mark at the box office. Amidst such a situation, he shared how one flop can affect his career.
The Punchnama Boy who has given superhit movies so far thinks if he delivers one flop then it can damage his career. He has no support so one flop film can end his career. Even after delivering great films, he is somewhere afraid and insecure about his position in the industry. Aryan fears ending his career being an outsider hailing from small-town Gwalior in India.
In a recent interview with Anupama Chopra, Kartik was asked to give his thoughts on being an outsider. He replied, “I am not padded, my back is not taken care of. I don’t know how an insider would feel, but as outsider, I feel that somewhere down the line that if one film flops, it could create a perception that can end my career. I won’t have someone who will create a project of that level for me.”
It is not unknown to anyone that Kartik has struggled his way to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 success from his debut Pyaar Ka Punchnama being an outsider. He received much love and appreciation for his role in his debut film Pyaar Ka Punchnama by Luv Ranjan. He then went on to deliver films such as Akaash Vani, Luka Chuppi, Pati Patni Aur Woh, and Love Aaj Kal among others. He earned fame with every movie and was titled a self-made star.
On the work front, Kartik is a commercially successful actor with multiple projects in the pipeline. Kartik has wrapped up Shehzada with his Luka Chuppi co-star Kiara Advani. He is shooting for Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani. Apart from these, he has Freddy, Captain India, and Kabir Khan’s untitled next in the kitty.
