Kartik Aaryan has become a hot topic in the town since the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. With every passing day, his latest horror-comedy is receiving tremendous success. Aneez Bazmee’s directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 desires to achieve 150 crores at the box office after the movie entered the 100 crore club. Following a significant triumph in theaters, the Dhamaka actor has been involved in various speculations. Recently, Kartik Aaryan was rumored to replace Akshay Kumar in the Housefull franchise.
After the Kartik Aaryan stepped in the shoes of Mr. Khiladi for Bhool Bhulaiya 2, media reports assumed that he might replace the Sooryavanshi actor in Housefull 5. The franchise of the comedy-drama is headlined by Akshay Kumar since its 1st part in 2010. Actors were added and changed but Bachchan Pandey’s star remained constant in all four parts.
Earlier, Akaash Vani fame commented on rumors about a hike in his fees and now again he took over Twitter to shut down gossip of him replacing the superstar Khiladi. He called the reports baseless reacting to the topic humorously. Taking to his Twitter handle to put an end he wrote: “Koi mujhse bhi poochega meri agli picture kaunsi hai? (Will anyone even ask me which is my next film)”. Dismissed the rumors calling them ‘baseless’ with a folded hands emoji.
Talking about his replacement in Bhool Bhulaiyaa which was helmed by Akshay Kumar, Ruhan of the film said: “I think it would be a little extra on people’s part if they are comparing me with Akshay. His body of work has been fabulous and so big. He’s been a superstar ever since I started following him as a kid. I am inspired by that journey and the way he has created a niche among his audience. I don’t think any comparison exists.”
Earlier, it was alleged that Love Aaj Kal 2 star will increase his fees from 15-20 crore per film to Rs 35-40 crore. This was reported immediately after the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He again remarked hilariously saying: “Promotion hua hai life mein, Increment nahi (tears of joy emoji) Baseless”.
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan will be next seen in Sehzada along with Luka Chupi co-star Kriti Sanon. He also has Satyanarayan Ki Katha, Freddy, and Sajid Nadiadwala’s untitled film in the kitty.
