Karisma Kapoor Digs Out An Old Throwback Picture With Uncle Rishi & His Family; Check Out

Actress Karisma Kapoor shared a rare unseen photo of late actor Rishi Kapoor along with his family from their family vacation in the valleys of Kashmir. Read below to know more.

The Bollywood industry has been doomed after veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020. Post his demise many Bollywood celebs shared candid photos of the actor on social media to pay tribute to the late versatile actor. While Rishi Kapoor’s niece Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a picture of him with her late father-in-law Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, her sister Karisma Kapoor took to her Instagram handle to share a rare unseen photo of her dear uncle and his family.

The picture which Karisma dig from the archives is from their vacation in the valleys of Kashmir in 1988. In the throwback picture, we can see Rishi Kapoor along with his wife Neetu Kapoor, little son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor and both the nieces Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. They can be seen happily posing for the camera with big smiles on their faces. Young Ranbir, Karisma, Kareena, and Riddhima look adorable in the picture.

Surely, the Kapoor family will be heartbroken by this sad news as the nation might have lost a Bollywood star but they lost someone of their blood. Rishi Kapoor took his late breath in Mumbai after battling with leukemia for two years. He was admitted to the hospital a day prior to his death as his health had started deteriorating.

In the statement released by the Kapoor family, they said that the late actor kept entertaining the doctors and the medical staff to the last and they are forever grateful to the doctors who took care of him throughout these two years.  He bravely kept fighting throughout the treatment and was determined to get healthy.

The statement also read that till the very end his family, friends, food, and films remained his focus. He never let the illness get better of him.

The last rites on him were performed at Chandan Wadi in Mumbai where his close friends and family were present.
