After staying away from social media for a long time, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan made her Instagram debut last year. Every time she makes a post, it goes viral in no time. Sadly, it also invites trolling most of the time. However, Kareena feels that there’s a big reason why she and other celebrities are being trolled online. There’s no denying fact that the online abuses and trolling has increased in the recent past.
Speaking about the same, Kareena said during an interview, “I just feel that the lockdown and pandemic have caused a lot of chaos in people’s minds and we have a lot of time on our hands. So people are just over-discussing, over-analysing, over-trolling things. Everyone is all over the place. Everyone is sitting at home, lot of people are without jobs. One shouldn’t even look at it as trolling. I guess everybody is just bored and wants to say something.”
She further added, “I think we are also here to spread peace and positivity. The idea is that everyone should just be happy in their space and not get into each others’ hair. If trolling makes someone happy then so be it.”
And if we really think it through, Kareena isn’t wrong after all.
On the work front, Kareena will be next seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ opposite Aamir Khan.
