Kareena Kapoor Brutally Trolled For Her Comment On Indian Railways

Laal Singh Chaddha actress Kareena Kapoor gets trolled for claiming that she financially benefited the Indian Railways with her role Geet from Jab We Met.

Ever since Laal Singh Chaddha’s release the Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has always managed to grab the headlines. Recently the actress passed a statement on how her role, Geet in the film Jab We Met has financially benefited the Indian Railways. However, it seems the netizens aren’t quite agreeing with her opinion, as many were recently seen trolling the actress. Here’s what they have to say-

Kareena Kapoor Comment On Financially Benefiting Indian Railways

In an episode of Kusha Kapila’s show Case Toh Banta Hai, Kareena Kapoor was seen saying that her role in the film Jab We Met has apparently helped increase the revenue of Indian Railways. She said, “Mere Geet play karne ke baad harem pants ki sale aur Indian Railways ki revenue, dono badh gayi hai by the way (After I played Geet, the sale of harem pants and revenues of Indian Railways both have increased by the way).”

However, the actress was brutally trolled for her statement in the show. Taking a dig at the actress a Twitter user wrote, “Indian railways used to make lose of 43 pc of its revenue in passenger train till 10 years ago. So Kareena was responsible for higher loss.”

Another user wrote, “Kareena Kapoor says she increased Indian Railways’ revenue by playing Geet in Jab We Met. These Bollywood celebs are so out of touch with reality and then they wonder why people are not connecting with them.”Taking a comical dig a user wrote, “Yes, it was the first movie ever shot in train, before that nobody knew that we have railway transportation too..”

Kareena Kapoor will appear in the show Case Toh Banta Hai which features Riteish Deshmukh as a public lawyer, Kusha Kapila as a judge, and Varun Sharma as a defense lawyer. Apart from Kareena, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Karan Johar have appeared on the Amazon show to face ‘charges’ against them.

Kareena Kapoor recently appeared in the Aamir Khan starrer film Laal Singh Chaddha. Unfortunately, the film became a huge flop, after making a disastrous run at the box office. The Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan starrer is a remake of Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks and released on August 11.
