Karan Johar Wants To Play ‘Father Roles’ In Films Now?

Karan Johar is a well-established director and producer in the Bollywood industry. He made his directorial debut with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and went on to give classic films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, My Name Is Khan and others. After getting name and fame, he also tried his hands in acting but unfortunately failed miserably. He made his cameos in films like Fashion and Luck by Chance but made his full fledged acting debut in 2015 film Bombay Velvet. He definitely failed to impress the audience as an actor. But now, after years, he is again considering taking up acting roles. During the lockdown period, he shared his picture showing off his greys. And in the caption, he wrote, “I know my acting stint was scarier than the current virus but there is no harm in hoping for a second chance! So to all enterprising casting directors ,to all risk taking filmmakers , to critics with a high threshold of pain and to easy to please audiences I have an announcement to make!!!! I AM AVAILABLE FOR FATHER ROLES! ( at 48 with a poor track record I promise i can’t afford to be choosy).” On this, actor Anil Kapoor made a very goofy comment. He wrote, “Mere pet pe kyon laat mar rahe ho sir .. “ Well, do you wish to see Karan Johar taking up father roles once the lockdown ends?
