Karan Johar’s multi-starrer film Kalank is again in news and for all the right reasons. The first look of the film is out and how!
Karan Johar shared the first official poster of the film along with a heartfelt message. His message reads-
“A film that was born in my heart and mind 15 years ago….a film I passionately believe in…the last film my father worked on before he left us….it was his dream to see this film come through….I couldn’t fulfil his dream then….my spirit was broken….but today his wish has found a relationship with celluloid….the story of turbulent relationships and eternal love has found a voice….the film has been woven,nurtured and visualised by ABHISHEK VARMAN….and the film Is KALANK! Set in the 40’s but it’s heart lives on…..TOMORROW the journey begins…..am excited …anxious and emotional about this one…I do hope you join us on our path to undying love…..#KALANK.”
It came after Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s cute banter on Twitter. Varun announced that Alia will be handling the marketing of Kalank to which Karan Johar replied that he already has a team and they are ready with their plans.
A small video which showed the film’s title along with some music was shared by Karan on his social media. It said that “Kalank unravels from tomorrow#Kalank.”
Kalank boasts of a stellar starcast of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sonakshi Sinha.
Kalank will take over the theatres on April 19 this year.
