Karan Johar Reveals Brahmastra Box Office Collection On Day 1, Netizens Are Shocked

Karan Johar thanks the audience while revealing the opening day box office collection of Brahmastra.

Producer Karan Johar and the entire cast and crew of Brahmastra are on cloud nine as the film did remarkably well at the box office. Breaking the dull phase of Bollywood after the Covid-19 pandemic, Brahmastra earned record-breaking numbers on its opening day. Karan Johar also took to his social media and revealed the box office collection of Brahmastra.

Karan revealed that the gross box office collection of Brahmastra is Rs 75 crore worldwide on Day 1. The digits are much higher than what was estimated and reported by the trade analysts. On Saturday morning, it was estimated that Brahmastra earned about Rs 47 cr worldwide. However, the official digits have definitely shocked the netizens.

Karan Johar wrote, “Humbled.. grateful…yet can’t control my excitement! Thank you.”

Box Office India tweeted, “Brahmastra Has Highest Non Holiday Opening Day Of All Time.”

Director Ayan Mukerji thanked the audience as he wrote on social media, “BRAHMĀSTRA DAY 1..Gratitude. Excitement. Hope. A Big Thank You to Everyone Everywhere who has gone to the Cinemas to experience Brahmāstra, keeping our movie-going culture, vibrant and dynamic. Looking forward to the next few days…”

Netizens are shocked to see the bumper opening of Brahmastra at the box office.

Weeks before the Brahmastra release, netizens started a boycott trend against the film. The film was surrounded by so much negative publicity that the future of the film seemed gloomy. However, despite all the challenges and negativity, the film is going strong. It would be interesting to see how the film performs over the weekend.

Brahmastra is a fantasy fiction film directed by Ayan Mukerji. it features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna.
