Karan Johar Felt “Embarrassed” After Not Getting Invited To Kat-Vicky’s Wedding

Koffee With Karan: After a series of much controversial and intriguing episodes, Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan will be wrapping up its last season with Kusha Kapila, Tanmay Bhatt, Danish Sait, and Niharika NM in its finale episode. While in the finale episode the filmmaker will be seen getting candid about not getting invited to Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding he will further be seen revealing that he felt “embarrassed” after not receiving the invite to the couple’s wedding.

Karan Johar Felt Embarrassed After Not Getting Invited At Vicky-Kat’s Wedding

On many occasions, the Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has shown his displeasure on not getting an invite to Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding, though he never came out candid on the topic. However, in the upcoming finale episode of his chat show Koffee With Karan, the Bollywood filmmaker will finally be seen addressing his discontentment on the subject.

Talking about the same Karan says, “When Vicky and Katrina were getting married, it became very embarrassing for me. It got to a point where people were like you did not tell us about them, you are at the wedding and still not telling us etc! It got very embarrassing to admit that I had not been invited. Then after the wedding came the sympathies and doubts. People were like why weren’t you invited? Is everything ok between you guys?”

Karan said that he felt at peace after he found out that the Dobaaraa director Anurag Kashyap was also not invited to Katrina and Vicky’s wedding, he said, “When I got to know that Anurag Kashyap had also not been invited to Vicky-Kat’s wedding, I did find a little peace.”

For the unversed, Bollywood couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony on 9 December in Rajasthan last year. The wedding ceremony of the couple was attended by just a few people including their close ones. The pair decided to marry after years of a secret relationship.
