Indian filmmaker Karan Johar has revealed that he is a fan of Sai Pallavi. He made his statement public through a post he tweeted recently. Sai Pallavi is a Telugu star known for her role in Fidaa, which was her Telugu debut movie. She is roped along with Baahubali star Rana Daggubati for the upcoming film Virata Parvam. Recently the trailer of the Telugu film was released which ignited excitement in fans. That’s not it even Bollywood’s popular director Karan Johar was impressed by the trailer.
The lead hero of Virata Parvam, Rana Daggubati dropped the trailer on his Twitter handle. Karan Johar retweeted it appreciating the movie and stating that he can’t wait to see the movie. KJo also accepted that he is a great fan of Sai Pallavi.
Retweeting the trailer Karan wrote: “This looks fantastic Rana!!!! Can’t wait to see it! Intense Raw and Rivetting!!! You are superb! And I am a huge @Sai_Pallavi92 fan!” Fidda girl was delighted to hear kind words and replied: “You are very kind Sir I’m humbled Thank you so much.”
Actor and Dancer by profession, Sai Pallavi is also a doctor by education. In 2020 she was recognized by Forbes as one of India’s 30 under 30. The kind tweet from Karan Johar has grabbed the eyeballs of netizens and left them wondering if a Bollywood debut is on Sai’s way soon.
One of the fans wrote: “Pleasure sir for kind words about Sai Pallavi and why won’t you introduce Sai Pallavi in Bollywood?” Another user tweeted, “I don’t think Sai appearing in pan India and Hindi films look far away now.”
Virata Parvam is a period action drama film written and directed by Venu Udugula, and produced by D. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri. The story revolves around the Naxalite movement that took place in the Telangana region in the 1990s. Along with Sai Pallavi and Rana Daggubati, the movie also stars Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, and Zarina Wahab.
Karan Johar is set to release his forthcoming film Jug Jugg Jeeyo on 24th June, starring Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. He also announced his next film with Ananya Panday and Akshay Kumar.
