Greta Thunberg, a 16-year-old climate activist was seen delivering a powerful speech at the UN’s Climate Action Summit, held at New York and that is winning hearts around the whole. Many celebs were seen praising the young climate activist for her honest questions and impassioned speech at the summit. One celeb who applauded her was Priyanka Chopra, who showed her support to Greta by sharing her video on social media along with a supporting post.
But seems like this didn’t go too well with Kangana Ranaut‘s sister Rangoli Chandel, who on Twitter was seen calling out the actress her tweet about Greta Thunberg. Rangoli wrote, “Dear PC nice to have u back, Yes this young woman is doing great work, magar hamare desh mein bhi bahut log tan man dhan se environment keliye kaam kar rahe hain,sirf lecture nahin de rahe results laa rahe hain… unkeliye bhi kabhi kuch payaar ke shabd bol dijiye…acha lagega.”
Priyanka who shared Greta’s speech on her Instagram handle, captioned it saying, “Thank you @gretathunberg for giving us the much-needed punch in the face, for bringing your generation together and showing us that we need to know better, do more to save what is most critical. At the end of the day, we only have this one planet. #HowDareYou.“
Not only Priyanka, But various other Bollywood celebs such as Alia Bhatt, Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Ajay Devgn and more were seen supporting Greta and even praised her for her honest speech at the summit.
