Kangana Ranaut has given a befitting reply to comedian Kunal Kamra who tried to troll her for having Y-level security. Kunal tried to poke fun at Kangana as he wrote on Twitter, “I am wondering how a strong women like you can have Y – security where men are protecting you just for living life on your own terms…”
Kangana hit back at him with a strong message. She replied, “In a democracy it is the duty of the constitution to protect a revolutionary voice. Here in this case you see two aspects of the glorious democracy ‘The protector’ and ‘ The protected’. You will never make it to any of them. Be someone who means something to this nation.”
The Manikarnika actor was given Y-security when she came to Mumbai for a week. She was allegedly threatened by Shiv Sena and therefore, high-level security was provided to her by the Centre. Kangana came to Mumbai on September 9 when BMC issued her a notice and demolished her office within 24 hours.
Kangana wishes to bring a revolution in the Bollywood industry. She says, “I have a full list of reforms I want from centre government for workers and junior artists, some day if I meet honourable Prime Minister I will discuss.”
She pointed out that there are no proper HR departments in production houses where women can complain, no safety or insurances for those who risk their lives every day and no 8 hours shift regulations.
