Controversial actress Kangana Ranaut has condemned the arrrest of Republic TV’s Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami. Kangana took to her Twitter and said, “Pappupro ko gussa kyun aata hai? Penguins ko gussa kyun aata hai? Sonia sena ko itna gussa kyun aata hai?Arnab sir let them pull your hair and assault you for the cause of free speech greats before us got hanged with smiles on their faces,Aazadi ka karz chukana hai.”

She posted a video of herself and called out the Maharashtra Government. She said, “You have entered Arnab Goswami’s house, pulled his hair, assaulted him. I want to ask Maharashtra Government- ‘How many homes will you break, how many people will you crush and how many voices will you shut.”
Kangana said that this is the price one has to pay for the freedom of speech.
Arnab Goswami was arrested by police in a closed case of 2018. He has been charged under the abetment to suicide.
It is reported that Arnab Goswami and his family was assualted by the police at the time of the arrest.
