Kangana Ranaut Trolled For Her Opinion On Ajay Devgn-Kiccha Sudeep Controversy

Kangana Ranaut is facing criticism after she shared her opinion on Ajay Devgn-Kiccha Sudeep's argument over the Hindi language.

Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut launched the trailer of her first action film ‘Dhaakad’ in Mumbai yesterday (29 April). During the event, Kangana was asked to comment on Ajay Devgn-Kiccha Sudeep’s controversy where the two superstars got into a war of words on Twitter. Their varied views on Hindi vs other regional languages have also sparked a debate amongst the common citizens. Addressing the same, Kangana had said, “There is no direct answer for this” but explained how India, as a country, is a country of many languages and diversity and culture and that everyone has the right to feel privileged in their culture or language. “We as a country, need some thread to run through it, and that if we had to respect our constitution, we must also respect how the nation made ‘Hindi’ its national language.”

She also added that the national language of the country should rather be ‘Sanskrit’, being the most ancient language of our country.

As the interview surfaced online, people trolled Kangana for her statement.

Check out what people are commenting:

“Uninformed opinions. Hindi is not a national language.”

“1st standard kid ko pata he, India me koi national language nhi he. Bollywood stars ko kya ho gaya he. Lagta he, Puri bollywood ko Indian constitution sikaana padega.”

“Kangana read more……Sanskrit is not the oldest language Tamil is!”

“One small correction.. we do not have a national language yet.. we do have 18 official languages..”

“Bollywood itself doesn’t respect Hindi as a language. From dialogues to songs to titles.. everything is in Urdu. Sometimes Punjabi is mixed mostly for the songs. So, Ajay Devagan should first retrospect about it. Its in Telugu films like Pushpa and RRR where the Climax songs cum BGMs are purely in Sanskrit.”

“Bollywood actor ko kya ho gaya he. Not only Hindi, koi bhi bhasha national language nhi ban Sakti. Not even Sanskrit, not even tamil. Koi bhi nhi Agar banegi, tab toh civil war hojayaga India me. En bollywood actors, kuch pta nhi. India is diversified country with so many languages, culture, religions. Do u think language can unite nation. No, what unites nation? It’s cinema, sports, army, navy, art, respecting each other culture, not language, culture, religion.”
