Kangana Ranaut seems to be much inclined towards Indian politics. Let alone her tweets, but now her upcoming films are also based on politics. We all know that Kangana will be soon seen in Politician Jayalalitha’s biopic titled ‘Thalaivi’. And now, she has signed another political drama. Kangana will be seen playing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in an upcoming film. However, the yet-untitled film is not a biopic Of Indira Gandhi.
Kangana confirmed the news as she said in a statement, “Yes, we are working on the project and the script is in the final stages. It is not the biopic of Indira Gandhi, it is a grand period film, to be precise a political drama that will help my generation to understand the socio-political landscape of current India.”
She also revealed that many prominent actors will be part of this film. Kangana will be producing the film and it will feature Emergency and Operation Blue Star.
A picture of Kangana posing as Indira Gandhi is going viral on social media. Talking about the same, Kangana said, “This is a photoshoot about iconic women I did in the beginning of my career, little did I know one day I will get to play the iconic leader on screen.”
Well, we now can’t wait for this project to go on floors.
