Kangana Ranaut Taunts Paparazzi After Priyanka Chopra Exposes Bollywood

After Priyanka Chopra opened up about the politics in Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut was seen taunting the paparazzi for not asking questions from the "Bollywood mafia".

Kangana was spotted at Mumbai airport this morning where she was seen taunting the paparazzi. While walking towards the departure gate, she said, “Vaise kaafi chalaak ho aap log. Agar film mafia ki koi controversy ho to unhe koi question nahi puchega. Aur agar meri koi controversy ho to aise chillaate hain. Tum log question kyun nahi puchte unse? Mai sab samajhti hoon.” (You guys are very clever. If there’s any controversy around film mafia, you never ask them questions. But if there’s any controversy around me, you guys yell around. I understand everything).

Her taunts came after Priyanka Chopra opened up about the dark side of Bollywood. On the latest episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, PeeCee talked about how “colourism was normalised” in the industry and how it impacted her in the early days of her career. The actress also spoke about her appearance in advertisements for fairness creams.

Priyanka said, “I remember when I joined movies, I was considered dusky, written as the dusky actress and I was like ‘What is dusky? What does it mean?’. Yet, I did a commercial because you are doing a beauty brand. A beauty brand is a really big part of an actress’ trajectory. And all the beauty brands were selling those creams.”

She then also opened up about why she decided to concentrate on her Bollywood career. She said that she was “being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood).” She added, “I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break.”

As her interview went viral, Kangana Ranaut came out in her support. Kangana worked with Priyanka in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film “Fashion”. She took to her social media and wrote, “This is what @priyankachopra has to say about Bollywood, people ganged up on her, bullied her, and chased her out of the film industry” a self made woman was made to leave India. Everyone knows Karan Johar had banned her.”

She then added, “Media wrote extensively about her fall out with Karan Johar because of her friendship with SRK and movie mafia Cruella who is always looking for vulnerable outsiders saw a perfect punching bag in PC and went all out in harassing her to a point where she had to leave India.”
