Kangana Ranaut Targets Sonia Gandhi In Her Recent Tweets

Kangana Ranaut has targeted Congress President Sonia Gandhi for remaining silent after the actor's office was demolished in Mumbai.

Kangana Ranaut has targeted Sonia Gandhi in her recent controversy against Maharashtra government. Congress and Shiv Sena- two celebrated parties with strong lineage came together in 2019 to form a government in Maharashtra. After Kangana’s rift with Shiv Sena, she called out Sonia Gandhi for remaining silent. She wrote on Twitter, “Dear respected honourable Congress president Sonia Gandhi ji being a woman aren’t you anguished by the treatment I am given by your government in Maharashtra? Can you not request your Government to uphold the principles of the Constitution given to us by Dr. Ambedkar?”

She further added, “You have grown up in the west and lived here in India. You may be aware of the struggles of women. History will judge your silence and indifference when your own Government is harassing women and ensuring a total mockery of law and order. I hope you will intervene.”

Kangana landed herself in the controversy after she said that she doesn’t trust Mumbai Police anymore. She then went on to compare Mumbai with Pakistan occupied Kashmir. Within a few days of her comment, her office in Mumbai was suddenly demolished by BMC.
