Kangana Ranaut is sparing no one these days. Ever since she joined Twitter, she has been targeting fellow actors and artists from the film industry and several politicians as well.
And now, her latest target is Anushka Sharma. Anushka, who is expecting her first child recently made news when legendary cricketer-turned commentator Sunil Gavaskar made certain remarks that upset Anushka. While commenting on Kohli’s poor performance in IPL, Gavaskar said, “Inhone lockdown me to bas Anushka ki gendon ki practice ki hain”.
Anushka took to her social media and called his comments ‘Distasteful’. She also said, “I would love for you to explain why you thought of making such a sweeping statement on a wife accusing her for her husband’s game?”
She further wrote, “I’m sure over the years you have respected the private lives of every cricketer while commenting on the game. Don’t you think you should have equal amount of respect for me and us? I’m sure you can have many other words and sentences in your mind to use to comment on my husband’s performance from last night or your words only relevant if you use my name in the process? It’s 2020 and things still don’t change for me. When will I stop getting dragged into cricket and stop being used to pass sweeping statements?”

Kangana, who quickly jumps in any controversy whether related or not related to her, made a tweet on the entire controversy. Though she condemned the statement of Gavaskar, but she also targeted Anushka Sharma.

She wrote in her tweet, “Anushka remained quiet when I was threatened and called Haramkhor but today the same misogyny coming to bite her, I condemn the fact that she was dragged in to cricket by Sunil Gavaskar but selective feminism is equally uncool.”
However, people hit back at Kangana for picking up an unnecessary fight.
