Emergency starring Kangana lands in controversy after teaser release

Kangana Ranaut never let her fans get disappointed by her amazing roles be it Rani Laxmi Bai in Manikarnika or Jayalalitha in the movie Thalaivi. The actress who is never afraid to raise her opinion on social media or any other platform took social media to release the teaser of her upcoming film ‘Emergency’. The movie is based on India landing in an emergency between 1975 to 1977. Fans could not keep calm but applauded for her striking resemblance to Indira Gandhi. Well portraying Indira Gandhi in Emergency is the third biopic that Kangana Ranaut is working on.

Shooting has just begun and the movie landed in a controversy as in Madhya Pradesh congress media department Sangeeta Sharma refers Kangana Ranaut is a BJP agent and doing this film to tarnish the image of former prime minister Indira Gandhi. She has also demanded to show the movie before its official release. however, BJP reportedly said that congress is opposing as they are nervous.

Emergency is a black spot in India and it could have been none other than Indira Gandhi who could have dealt with it, so there is nothing to be worried about. Kangana Ranaut is confident about her upcoming film and that Emergency will be a massive success. This is her sole directional debut as well. Though recently her last film Dhakad did not do well at the box office, nonetheless she came up with this brilliant project which is a sure shot success.

Kangana also said that she knows the pulse of the audience and believes in her instincts as a filmmaker. Moreover, the emergency teaser has taken India by storm, and it is proof of the fact this is what the audience is looking out for.

Her last directional movie was Manikarnika and it was a super hit film. She got renowned makeup artist David Malinowski on board to get her perfect Indira Gandhi look. It is also believed that she is doing little voice modulation as well to fit into the character. Emergency is expected to drop into theatres in 2023.
