Kangana Ranaut Slams Ajay Devgn & Akshay Kumar For Not Promoting Dhaakad

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Dhaakad. Many superstars have liked the actress’s performance and shared the trailer, while it seems many didn’t. Bothered about the same, Kangana recently called out Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar for not promoting Dhaakad.

Actress Kangana Ranaut will be soon seen in Dhaakad, a spy action-thriller scheduled for a release on May 20. While the actress appreciated Dabangg actor Salman Khan for supporting her by sharing the film trailer, she called out actors Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar for not promoting the film. In a recent interview, the actress said, “But Ajay Devgn will never promote my film. He will promote other films but will never promote my film. Akshay Kumar called me, quietly, to tell me ‘hush-hush’ that you know, I love your Thalaivi, but he will not tweet my trailer.”

Later, she added, “Ajay Devgn goes and does a role in a female-centric film. But will he do that in my film? I will be more than obliged and I will be more than grateful if he does. If he supports my film how Arjun (Rampal) has. Of course, it is quite evident that they don’t want to. I think all the actors should support me as I support them. I was the first to praise films like The Kashmir Files and Shershah. I praised Sidharth Malhotra and even Karan Johar’s film. I did it openly, not making quiet calls. This bonding exists between them, but when I reach out they don’t reciprocate, not yet. But I am sure that will change.”

Recently the actress pointed out megastar Amitabh Bachchan for deleting Dhaakad trailer after sharing it on her social media account. Kangana responded by saying “Of course, there are likes and dislikes but this is so striking that Mr. Bachchan tweeted the trailer and then he deleted it in other five-ten minutes. At somebody of his stature, whose pressure will he have? I just don’t know, I find this situation a bit complex.”

The film Dhaakad stars Kangana along with Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutt and is all set to hit the theatres on 20 May. The action thriller film is directed by Razneesh Ghai.
