Kangana Ranaut slams Aamir Khan for his superstar privileges and his anti-national comment calling the country intolerant

Kangana Ranaut spares no one with her unfiltered opinion and attitude. She is just herself and vocal straight regardless of whether her words may hurt someone. This time Kangana Ranaut took a dig at Aamir Khan for the failure of his latest film Laal Singh Chaddha and his anti-national comment. 

The actress who is set to represent BJP in Himachal Pradesh soon said the boycott trend had nothing to do with the debacle of LSC but his remark is biting him back today. She slammed him for charging too many fees for lower pay in films. She indirectly said Superstars charge 200 crores for a job worth 2 crores. 

Aamir Khan’s last film Laal Singh Chaddha was an enormous failure at the box office. The film was an adaptation of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. The Hindi version produced and headed by Aamir Khan also starred Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya. LSC made at a budget of 180 crores earned rs 129.64 crores at the box office. 

During an event, Kangana Ranaut spoke to Aaj Tak taking a dig at Aamir Khan. She pointed at the Laal Singh Chaddha actor saying, “Superstars have got all kinds of privileges. They take 200 crores for a job worth 2 crores. They take charter plans for places where one can take economy flights. Now it’s the people who are questioning their right to stardom. Coming to Aamir khan Ji, I am not specifically talking about the boycott culture but in general, when the nation was going through some tension, Turkey did something against us. But, you went there and gave them your consent and clicked pictures. You called our country intolerant in front of the world and tarnished our reputation.”

Kangana continued adding, “This is a personal crisis. You are disgusted, ashamed to be an Indian. Iska boycott culture se kuch lena dena nahin hain (This has nothing to do with boycott culture).”

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut is directing a film titled Emergency that will display the story of a watershed moment that took place in 1975. The actress will essay late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who announced the Emergency in 1975. The film produced under the banners of Manikarnika Films also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, and Shreyas Talpade. Ranaut also has Tejas in the pipeline.
