Panga girl Kangana Ranaut uploaded a post on her Instagram story and wrote that this year only two Bollywood films ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘Drishyam 2’ have been successful at the box office. Superstar Tabu ji has worked in both of these films. Who is doing wonders at the age of her 50s and is single-handedly saving the Hindi film industry. Her talent and consistency were never questioned, but her excellent looks and reaching stardom at the age of fifty is a matter of praise.
The actress wrote in her post, “Only two Hindi films have worked this year – Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Drishyam 2 and both films have superstar Tabu ji in central roles, slaying in her 50s, single-handedly saving the Hindi film industry. Her talent and consistency have never been questioned but to look her best and reach the peak of her stardom in her fifties is commendable. I think women deserve much more credit for their unwavering dedication to their work. Such an inspiration.” She ended the note by adding a clapping emoji.
Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer ‘Drishyam 2’ was released on November 18. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna in a leading role. The film is doing well at the box office. The film has collected 37.07 crores in two days. Drishyam 2 is a remake of Malayalam film of the same name which was released in 2021. ‘Drishyam 2’ has become the second-highest opening film in the year 2022.
