Kangana Ranaut Mocks MP Imtiaz Jaleel Who Says, “Nupur Sharma Should Be Hanged”

Kangana Ranaut takes a dig at AIMIN MP Imtiaz Jaleel who expressed that Nupur Sharma should be hanged.

Kangana Ranaut has been actively supporting former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma after she made controversial remarks against Prophet Muhammad during a recent TV debate. The actress has now mocked AIMIN (All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen) MP Imtiaz Jaleel who expressed that Nupur Sharma should be sentenced to capital punishment.

Yesterday, ANI posted a video of Imtiaz Jaleel where he stated to the media, “Nupur Sharma should be hanged. If she’s allowed to let-go easily, then such things won’t stop. Law should be brought to take action against those who make such remarks against any religion.”

Posting a video of the same, Kangana wrote in her Instagram story, “He is an MP, he says he belongs to a peaceful religion so he wants Nupur dead….because she quoted Hadith and he is certain God is hurt. I wonder if God made a personal phone call to him ki he is upset with a woman quoting Hadith in retaliation to disrespect to her faith. Did God also say ki only Nupur’s hanging will cheer him up now or else he will keep sulking?”

Nupur Sharma was sacked from BJP for commenting that as per traditional Islamic scripture, Prophet Muhammad married Aisha when she was 6 years old and had sex with her when she was 9 years old. BJP said in its official statement, “The BJP strongly denounces insults of any religious personalities of any religion.”

Her statement sparked debate and unrest across several states in India. Even several Muslim majority countries condemned India. Nupur Sharma made an”unconditional” apology while withdrawing her statement, but also made an attempt to justify them claiming that they were in response to the “continuous insult and disregard towards Hinduism.”
