Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut often drags herself into controversies for her unfiltered opinions about others. She is seen criticizing other celebs from the industry for one reason or the other. However this time, she took a little self-analysis test and pointed out the mistakes she made in her life as a public figure. Kangana took to her Instagram story and shared old pictures of herself getting spotted at Mumbai airport. In a series of pictures, Kangana can be seen acing different stylish looks in expensive branded clothes and accessories. Kangana admitted that she is the person to blame for starting the stupid trend of airport looks.
She then stated, “Brainwashed by magazine editors and fashion industry to look a western woman so that I only fill the pockets of international designers.” She admitted that she was ashamed to repeat clothes always buying without any care about the impact of her choices on the environment.
In another Instagram story, Kangana wrote, “While I act like a bimbo, the system hails me as a fashionista to encourage me to promote more international brands while my own people like weavers and handicrafts men dying slow and steady death.”

“Then they shrewdly start to price tag everything I wear making it a vanity issue for me and guess what I fall for the trap now more than style it’s about brands even for a genuinely stylish person. Fashion brands make you work for them for free by just sending clothes and bags…they start to hijack cultures and tradition of an entire civilisation,” she added.
While sharing pictures of herself covered top to bottom in international brands, Kangana questioned herself, “If this is how an Indian woman looks then what does an American woman look like?”
She admitted that due to this brainwashing, she was stupid enough to carry fur jackets in summer.
Kangana wrote in conclusion, “Bye bye airport looks we have gone past that phase. Now it’s time even if I buy one piece of clothing, I ask myself how many Indians benefit from this!”
Interestingly, Kangana has already started working on bringing a change. In the recent past, Kangana has been seen making major changes to her lifestyle. Since a long time, she is spotted wearing cotton sarees and suits made by Indian artisans.
On the work front, Kangana will be seen in Emergency, Tejas and Chandramukhi.
