Karan Johar directed Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which is one of the iconic films of that time and even today. The film starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherji, and Salman Khan made a special appearance in the film. The movie was released in 1998, and it did well at the box office. Recently, Kajol talked about the movie and stated that, if given the chance, she would have actually played Anjali.
The laugher queen revealed during an interview with Humans of Bombay that, following the growth of her character Anjali, she would never have donned sarees. She also admitted that, in the end, she preferred to choose Aman. Rahul, Tina, and Anjali, three friends, were the main characters in the movie. After getting married to Rahul, Tina passed away shortly after giving birth to their daughter. Years later, Rahul and Anjali are reunited with their daughter, and they eventually get married.
When she was asked about her choice of playing Anjali in the film, she said, “My version of Anjali would never be wearing a sari.” She would be wearing those track pants and fab, expensive sneakers with it and making that look good.” ,
When she was asked who she would have picked between Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and Aman (Salman Khan), she replied, “On script level, maybe I would have gone with Salman’s character, but in the film, if you watch the film, there is no choice about the ending, it has to be the way it is.”
Talking about Kajol’s work front, she was last seen in Salaam Venky with Vishal Jethwa. She is very active on social media, where she shares some beautiful glimpses of her family.
