JUST IN: Deepika Padukone & Ranbir Kapoor Reunite For Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Next? Find Out

Amid the nationwide lockdown which has brought the whole of Bollywood industry to a standstill, there is good news for Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone fans. There are rumors floating around B-town which state that Ranbir and Deepika have been approached by the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his upcoming remake of the 1952 film, Baiju Bawra.

For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor made his debut in Bollywood with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya back in 2007. The actor has gained this chocolate boy image over the years and his on-screen chemistry with Deepika Padukone is a treat for the eyes. So if they both like the script and give SLB a positive nod we can see our favorite on-screen Jodi creating magic in the theatres once again.

With Sanjay Leela Bhansali movies, it has always been Ranveer and Deepika pairing and the Jodi has been proved as super hit with films like Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, and Ram Leela. But it seems like the ace director wants to move past that and add something new to his movies.

Speaking of which a source close to the development revealed,“ Ranbir and Deepika make a pair to reckon with on-screen and Bhansali wants to create magic on screen with the two actors. Talks are on, however neither of the two have signed the dotted lines yet.” The source further added that Bhansali wants to move away from the conventional pairing of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

The source said, “He will work with Ranveer again in the future, but he doesn’t want to repeat the pairing of the real life couple for the fourth consecutive time.”

Well, either of the three- Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Deepika or Ranbir are yet to make an official announcement about the same but we hope that it happens soon.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have shared the silver screen multiple times and have delivered success. The movies include Bachna Ae Haseeno, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and Tamasha.
