Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla has turned a year older today. Wishes are pouring in for the actress on social media. Meanwhile, Juhi took to her Twitter handle and demanded a gift from her fans. Calling it a ‘shameless and earnest request’, she revealed the one thing she wants on her birthday.
A day prior to her birthday, she wrote on Twitter, “Hello Family and Friends, Tomorrow is my birthday. I know you must be eagerly waiting for the day to dawn, to wish me and shower me with gifts. (laughing emojis) of course, I’m joking….many of you may not even remember! But just in case you would care to…here’s a shameless and earnest request….please plant trees!!!”
Giving a link to the same, she further wrote, “Here is the link…at Rs 42 a sapling. Please plant as many as you wish. It’s not just for me….it’s for your children, for the Earth, for our entire well-being. Lots of love!”
While she wants people to plant trees on her birthday, she often returns the gesture on the special day of her loved ones. Recently, on the birthday of her close friend Shahrukh Khan, she pledged to plant 500 trees. She repeated the same gesture on the birthday of Shahrukh Khan’s eldest son Aryan Khan.
