Recently, WWE star John Cena took to Instagram and paid tribute to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was found dead on Sunday 14 June at his residence in Bandra. John Cena shared a monochrome picture of Sushant Singh Rajput in which the actor can be seen wearing a white shirt.
In numerous interviews, John Cena has expressed his admiration for Indian cinema, and also said that he loves to interact with celebrities on Instagram. John Cena paid tribute to the Bollywood legends Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan last month by sharing their photos on Instagram after their tragic deaths.
Speaking of Sushant Singh Rajput, he last starred in Drive which is airing on Netflix. Before that he featured in Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, and others. His acting the movie was hailed by the audience and the film has become a cult classic.
Post the news of Sushant’s death surfaced, netizens took to social media to shares his pictures paying tribute to the rising star who passed away too soon. Many shared the dialogues from his movies, especially Chhichhore as it dealt with depression and suicidal thoughts.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai police are investigating the case and have not found any suicide note. His maternal uncle has claimed that it is a murder rather than a suicide and has urged for the CBI probe.
Reports claim that while inspecting his Bandra residence, police found anti-depression pills and doctor papers which hint that the late actor was getting himself treated for some mental condition. The police will also record the statement of the doctor about which medicines were Sushant on and what was he going through.
