Arjun Kapoor who was last seen opposite Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat is currently filming with De De Pyaar De actress Rakul Preet for an untitled project. Rumors have it that another actor has been roped in for the cross-border love drama. Pagalpanti actor John Abraham is reported to be doing a cameo in the film. It is also reported that John who shares a great rapport with producer Nikkhil Advani is super happy to do a cameo in the film.
The source revealed that the film is helmed by Kaashvie Nair and extensively features Arjun and Rakul’s character. John has been roped in to play a younger version of Kumud Mishra in the film and will be seen in one of the flashback sequences. The source also revealed that the makers are on the look for a newcomer to portray Neena Gupta’s younger version. John will soon begin shooting for his portion in the film says the source.
It is also reported that Arjun, Rakul and the team will jet off to Los Angeles for the final shoot after the second schedule. The source said, “Filming will be wrapped up by January end, following which the team moves on to post-production. The film will release next year.” It is also revealed that Neena’s role in the film will be seen with heavy prosthetic and there were several tests that she had to undergo in October for the same. The source also revealed that her look once unveiled, will surprise many.
John is yet to confirm his role in the film and apart from Arjun, Rakul, Neena Gupta and Kumud Mishra, the film will also star Soni Razdan and Kanwaljit Singh. It is also reported that Arjun is quite excited about the movie as it’s a coming-of-age story. Talking about the same, Arjun stated that the film is a family comedy-drama that has a nice, feel-good vibe to it. He also revealed that he hasn’t done anything in this space before.
