Actor John Abraham takes down corruption in Satyameva Jayate 2 which will be released on Eid 2021. The movie would be bankrolled by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment.
This news has come in after the lockdown rules and restrictions have been made lenient by the Indian government. Now all the film production houses, filmmakers and producers have started working on their films keeping in mind to maintain all the social distancing and COVID 19 rules and regulations.
After having a huge commercial success and staggering box office collection with Satyameva Jayate (2018), John Abraham gets ready as he takes down corruption in Satyameva Jayate 2.

He has proved himself as a bankable star and his credibility as an actor that can pull of any diverse kind of roles flawlessly.
Yes, it’s true that Satyameva Jayate director Milap Zaveri had been busy in making the film script much better during the lockdown. After this, now John is all set to fight the corruption in the town of Lucknow.
The film produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment, will be an action packed drama that would be released on 12th May 2021.
After tasting a good commercial success at the box office and Bollywood with their 2018 release, John, Milap and the producers came on board and decided to take the franchise forward with Divya Khosla Kumar to be paired opposite John Abraham this time in the film.
While the first film majorly dealt with cleaning the nexus of corruption, the sequel would now be dealing with unraveling the circle of corruption from all spheres ranging from police to politicians, industrialists, businessman and common man.
After changing the film location shoot and setting this time from Mumbai to Lucknow director Milap Zaveri in conversation with a leading digital media publication said,
”Creatively we changed the script to Lucknow as it gave us a chance to make it more massy and also make the canvas larger. Visually also Lucknow adds to the scale and grandeur. The action of this film is gonna be ten times more dynamic, heroic and powerful. John is going to smash, Rip and annihilate the corrupt like he never has done before on the silver screen and Divya is going to wow audiences with her power-packed scenes, dramatic prowess, grace and beauty. Satyameva Jayate 2 like part one is a film of the masses and is also a celebration of action, music, dialoguebaazi, patriotism and heroism. ”Eid” is a perfect occasion to release as it will offer entertainment galore. With Bhushan sir, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani backing me once again I can promise next year on 12th May we will do our best to deliver a festive bonanza for all audiences”.
Producer Nikkhil Adwani sharing insights about how the film is important and special to him and why the film has been set in Lucknow along with how it will be shot there. Further quipping with a leading digital news publication about presenting actor John Abraham in a completely new and different avatar in the film, he says,
”As Milap kept developing the subject, he realised that India’s heartland lent itself increasingly to his plotline. As producers, we were happy to pivot to support his creative choices. Hence the story is now based and will be shot in Lucknow, one of my personal favourite cities in India. This is an extremely special film for us. The love shown by fans to the first instalment in this franchise has encouraged us to create a bigger, more exciting experience, presenting John Abraham as never seen before. We are hopeful that prevailing circumstances will improve and pave the way for us to reach our audience in theatres once again.”
Also producer Bhushan Kumar, who will be co-producing the film along with Nikkhil speaking at length about why they all decided to make a second part of Satyameva Jayate with a leading media publication said,
”Satyameva Jayate was a commercial hit not just at the box office but audiences loved the action and drama. John has become our nation’s action hero since then. Nikkhil and we decided to take the franchise ahead and continue to make entertaining commercial cinema with Milap and John. Satyameva Jayate 2 which will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar (T-Series), Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani (Emmay Entertainment) is all set to release on May 12, 2021.
