Bollywood actor John Abraham is in the spotlight for his upcoming films. These days he is busy promoting the film ‘Ek Villain Returns’, in which Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, and Disha Patani will be seen alongside. John Abraham will be next seen in the action thriller film Tehran. The actor’s first look from the film has been revealed and the makers have announced the shooting.
Dinesh Vijan’s production Maddock Films has shared a video on social media that unveils the actor’s look. In this few seconds video, John is seen with a very strong expression and his look is also enough to scare anyone. Maddock Films took to Instagram to share the first look of John. captioned the video, “Lights Camera Time for some ACTION! #Tehran shoot begins!.” John has also shared the video on Instagram, which is being liked a lot by the fans.
John’s action thriller film Tehran, based on true events, is being directed by Arun Gopalan and will be shot in Iran. The film based on true events from the capital of Iran is written by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma. It is set to hit the theaters on the occasion of Republic Day in 2023.
John Abraham had told in an old interview with PTI that, ‘Tehran is a geopolitical drama film, which he will start shooting in Iran’. Though John was supposed to start shooting for the film in June, he is now shooting for the film in July as he is busy with other films. When John was asked what true incident he would cover, he said, “If you see the crisis between Russia-Ukraine, then think what China is doing, what Iran is doing, Palestine is doing this whole thing. Where does the case fit in? ‘Tehran’ is all about this. It is an amazing film.”
Talking about John Abraham’s work front, the actor was last seen in the film ‘Attack’, which proved to be a flop at the box office. However, the film has come on OTT. John will now be seen in ‘Ek Villain Returns’, which releases in theaters on July 29. John is also booked to play an important role in Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’. Tehran and Pathaan will release on 25th January, which will be a clash in John and SRK’s films. However, John is starred in both films.
