Recently, Ajay Devgn announced a new project with film director Neeraj Pandey. This is still an untitled project to be headlined by the actor. This marks the first collaboration of Ajay and the filmmaker. Now the latest buzz around the film reports that Jimmy Sheirgill is to join the star cast.
A source close to the development informed Pinkvilla about the reports. If this is to be believed then Jimmy Sheirgill will be seen sharing the screen with Ajay Devgn in Neeraj Pandey’s directorial. According to reports, the Happy Bhaag Jayegi actor will play a significant role in the film.
The source told the media portal, “Jimmy Sheirgill has a very important role in this yet untitled Neeraj Pandey film. Neeraj was clear that he needs a seasoned actor to play the part, and that’s when he decided to approach Jimmy Sheirgill. The actor too was pumped up on hearing the narration and is now all gearing up to start the shoot with Ajay Devgn in November.”
According to reports, “Apart from Ajay and Jimmy, many more names will join the team of this yet untitled thriller. There’s another very important character and sub-track in the film, and the team at present is on the verge of casting a relatively young actor in that space.”
However, neither the makers nor Jimmy Sheirgill has confirmed the news yet. So it is still not known if Jimmy will join the star cast. The upcoming film will start the shoot soon and it will be shot over a period of two months. Further, it will move to post production stage by early next year.
On the work front, after Ajay Devgn’s latest Diwali release ‘Thank God’ the actor will gear up for Drishyam 2. Following that he has Bholaa again with Tabu in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Jimmy Sheirgill was last seen in the second season of his web show Your Honour. He also has an upcoming project ‘Aazam – Rise Of A New Don’ and Operation Mayfair in the kitty.
