“But How Did My Child Die?” Jiah Khan’s Mother After CBI Court Acquits Sooraj Pancholi

Sooraj Pancholi has been acquitted in the Jiah Khan suicide abetment case. Jiah's mother said the judgement was not surprising, and her battle to seek justice for her daughter will continue.

A special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Mumbai has given its verdict today in the Jiah Khan case after ten years. In its decision, which came after 10 years, the court said that it did not find any solid evidence against Sooraj Pancholi during the hearing. That’s why the court acquitted him. The happiness of Sooraj and his family knows no bounds after the decision by the CBI court. On the other hand, Jiah Khan’s mother, Rabia, is unhappy with the court’s decision.

After the decision of the CBI’s special court, Jiah Khan’s mother, Rabia Khan, who has been fighting relentlessly for the past ten years, called Sooraj Pancholi the murderer of her daughter and stated that her daughter never died by suicide but was murdered.

Speaking to the media after the court’s decision, she said that the judgement was not a surprise at all for him and that his fight for justice would continue, especially for his daughter.
