When Times Of India questioned Javed Akhtar, a professional writer-lyricist, if Farhan and Shibani were all set to tie the knot, he was non-committal and left just that wee bit of a hint to indicate that all reports might be real.
“I have just heard it from you. I was with Farhan on his birthday, which was the day before yesterday. He didn’t tell me anything about this. But you never know, children can be very secretive,” Javed Akhtar stated to TOI. When asked about Farhan and Shibani.
Talking about Farhan and Shibani all set to get married this year began trending back a while when a prominent tabloid ran a report suggesting as much. The report added that the duo finalized a marriage date and would probably settle down as soon as the release of Farhan’s upcoming movie “Toofan.” The film is scheduled to open for filming on 2 October.
The report stayed unspecific, but, saying they can also get married until the release of the film. “The plan is to marry towards the end of the year after Farhan’s next movie ‘ Toofan ‘. But they could bring a surprise by getting married earlier than that.”Javed Akhtar is very pleased with Shibani according to TOI. “I’ve met her many times. She’s a very sweet girl,’ he said.
Farhan was earlier married to Adhuna Bhabani, a celebrity hairstylist, with whom he has two children, Shakya and Akira.
