Gone are the days when movie ticket prices were as low as RS 100. With the impact of Indian cinema and entertainment in our daily lives movie ticket prices have increased over the years. However, the makers of the forthcoming film ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ have strategized to bring back the old days and priced tickets for their film for day 1 at just Rs 100. ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ stars Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead and it is good news for her fans. Cinema enthusiasts who love to watch every film will now won’t have to make a hole in their pocket as they can watch this film at nearly one-third amount of the popcorn price at theaters.

Producers Vinod Bhanushali and Raaj Shaandilyaa made this wonderful announcement at the song launch event of the film. An important film like the one released in the public interest should reach door to door. So the makers have announced to sell the tickets on the opening Friday of the film at a price of Rs 100. This means one will be able to watch the film on the first day of release i.e. June 10 2022 for just Rs 100. The makers have adopted this strategy to make the film ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ a hit at the box office.

Both the producers of the film said on the idea that it was activated for the first time, the film is a perfect package of laughter and thought-provoking story. The audience showered a lot of love after watching the trailer of the film and this is a small gift from our side to them. This is a story that needs to reach every household and we are thankful to our multiplex partners for supporting us in this idea. We are hopeful that our viewers will be able to entertain themselves for as low as Rs 100 on the first day.

The idea is perfect for the makers to grab a lot of audiences but upsetting for multiplexes who sell tickets on an opening day starting at 250-300 Rs. According to a source: “All multiplex chains and the makers are wondering how to implement it. As of now, it seems like all theatres in India won’t have this offer. Some cinemas may indeed sell tickets for Rs. 100 for the whole day while some cinemas, meanwhile, are thinking of pricing tickets at Rs. 100 only for shows before 12:00 noon. A few theatres are toying with the idea of pricing the tickets at Rs. 100 for the 2 or 3 rows in the front only. The talks are on and a clearer picture would emerge by Wednesday. The makers are trying their best to convince all cinemas to sell the tickets at Rs. 100 for all the shows on day 1.”
