Late ace Hollywood and Bollywood superstar Irrfan is coming on the celluloid screens for his fans across the globe to entertain them yet again for a last time where fans who miss their star on screens would be able to fall in love with his magical acting yet again wherein the latest news is that Irrfan’s last film The Song Of Scorpions releases in 2021.

For movie lovers and cinema aficionados this is indeed exciting news now as after Angrezi Medium they would be seeing Irrfan again on the 70 mm screens in theatres where Irrfan’s last film The Song Of Scorpions releases in 2021.

Irrfan’s acting was so effortless and flawless that when he smiled, we smiled and when he cried even our eyes shed tears whilst watching him in theatres. This was the sheer power of his acting that when he lost his life to cancer and colon infection, the audiences, netizens and people felt like an era of good cinema has come to an end where our heart also cried for this huge loss in our Bollywood film industry whose void can never be filled ever. His internationally acclaimed and globally loved film The Song Of Scorpions is set for an Indian premiere next year in 2021.

This, film, which also stars Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani along with veteran and iconic Bollywood actress Waheeda Rehman in leading roles, will be released in early 2021.

This film has been directed by Anup Singh who had also directed Irrfan in the critically acclaimed post partition drama Qissa (2013), this film had its premiere at the 70th Locarno film festival in Switzerland three years back in 2017, but hasn’t been released in theatres yet.

In a recent official statement, Abhishek Pathak, who is the producer and director at Panorama Spotlight, said, “We will be offering this film to the audiences as a tribute to the beloved star of Indian cinema. The era of cinema in India and abroad has benefitted from his acting prowess and we’re happy to have canvassed his swansong”.

The film revolves around an independent young tribal woman essayed by the Iranian actor Golshifteh Farahani, who tries to come out of a brutal betrayal so as to find her voice.

Irrfan’s son Babil, earlier back in June 2020, had shared a throwback picture of his father and penned a caption that read, “He had this strange understanding of rain. I cannot compare it to anything that I have ever experienced. He could only explain it to me through the limits within what words would let him, but there was a connection that I cannot envelop even in the most beautiful language; only the desert could show, oh my god, what the rain did to him”.
