Versatile actor Irrfan Khan took his last breath last month in Mumbai after battling with a rare type of cancer for two years. Bollywood lost one of the best actors in the country and the entertainment industry was doomed by the loss. The whole of B-town mourned on his death and sent condolences to his family.
On Irrfan Khan’s one month death anniversary, his wife Sutapa Sikdar penned down an emotional note in his memory. For the unversed, Sutapa and Irrfan had been married to each other for 25 years and she misses him every day. In the heartfelt note, she said to the late actor that they will meet soon.
Sutapa shared some adorable pictures of herself along with her late husband on her Facebook and wrote, “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right-doing there is a field. I’ll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about. It’s just a matter of time…milenge baaten karenge…. Till we meet again.”

Post Irrfan’s demise Sutapa Sikdar had written a beautiful note talking about her journey with the late actor. The note read, “It’s difficult to explain what a wondrous, beautiful, overwhelming, painful and exciting journey this journey has been. I find this 2 and 1/2 years to have been an interlude, which had its own beginning, middle and culmination with Irrfan helming the role of the orchestra conductor, separate from the 35 years of our companionship, ours was not a marriage, it was a union.”
Irrfan Khan’s absence will forever be felt in the industry and his movies will always be cherished.
On the work front, Irrfan Khan was last seen in Angrezi Medium alongside Radhika Madan.
