Irrfan Khan starrer Angrezi Medium holds a special place in the hearts of the movie lovers as the film marks the last Bollywood movie of the late actor’s life. The versatile actor took his last breath last month after battling with a rare type of cancer for two years. The film is the sequel of the 2017 Hindi Medium, and it narrates the story of the father-daughter duo. The film sadly had to be pulled out of the theatres owing to the lockdown orders imposed by the government due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Meanwhile, Angrezi Medium is all set to release in Dubai as the theatres there re-open on May 27. However, strict guidelines will be in place which will mandatory for all to follow. The Irrfan Khan starrer is one of the Indian movies that is set to release on Wednesday in Dubai.
Apart from Irrfan Khan, the film also features Radhika Madan alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepak Dobriyal and Dimple Kapadia. The film helmed by Homi Adajania is currently streaming on Disney + Hotstar and is being praised by the viewers and critics.
The plot of the movie revolves around a small sweet shop owner and single father portrayed by late Irrfan Khan who does everything to fulfill his daughter’s (Radhika Madan) dream to study in London. However, this journey leads him and his family on a new quest, which renews their relationship and bonds.
