As the 2018 film Laila-Majnu gained much recognition among nationwide for its beautiful portrayal of love-story, Imtiaz Ali, the director has announced the re-release of the film in theatres after six long years. Film actors Tripti Dimri and Avinash Tiwary were also seen attending the screening of the movie after six long years, engaging with the audience.
Shot amidst the scenic beauty of Jammu and Kashmir, Laila Majnu recently became the talk of the town on social media, especially the chemistry of Qais Bhatt and Laila was shown beautifully on screen. After the chemistry of Laila-Majnu relished amidst the growing generation, Imtiaz Ali the director finally made a decision to bring Laila and Qais’s story to the fans once again. The film re-releases once again this Friday and is there on the theates giving fans a beautiful weekend retreat.

The screening for the film took place on August 2, in Srinagar. Actors Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Dimri also attended the screening along with the entire film cast. Seeing the overwhelming response from the viewers, Ekta Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali took to their instagram expressing gratitude to his fans who have showered so much love on the film characters that led the film to re-release in theatres after this long gap.
Many films like Rockstar, Jab We Met gained recognition after years of their release.

Laila Majnu is written by Imtiaz Ali under the direction of brother Sajid Ali. It is a modern-day adaptation of the classic folklore, starring Avinash Tiwary as Qais opposite Tripti Dimri essaying the role of Laila. Instagram and other social media platforms made the film grab enough of eye balls, making it a close-to-heart movie, especially among the young generation.
