Hrithik Roshan Praises Indian Women’s Hockey Team Captain Rani Rampal on receiving Padma Shri Award

Rani Rampal is currently the captain of the Indian Women’s Hockey Team and she has been honored with Padma Shri Award by the Government of India in the year 2020.

Bollywood’s Greek God, Hrithik Roshan has had a wonderful 2019. He ruled the Box Office with two of his movies- Super 30 and War. The actor was praised for his commendable acting and hard work in both of these movies. And for the cherry on top, Hrithik even completed his 20 years in Bollywood this year.

Hrithik who is quite chirpy on his social media platforms recently congratulated Indian Women’s team captain Rani Rampal for being honored with Padma Shri Award. The Super 30 actor wrote, “Congratulations @iamranirampal for being awarded the Padma Shri honor and representing India at World Games Athlete of the year. You have been a fighter and an inspiration to thousands. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to contribute. Makes me proud. Here is a big shoutout to my friends and fans. I have voted have you..”

Talking about Rani Rampal, she is an Indian field hockey player. Rani has played 212 international matches and scored 134 goals. She was also the youngest player in the national team which participated in the 2010 World Cup. At that time she was only 15 years old.

Currently, Rani Rampal is the Captain of the Indian Women’s Hockey Team.  She has also got nominated as the only Indian Athlete for ‘World Games Athlete of the Year’.

On a side note, Hrithik Roshan is currently rumored to be working with Farah Khan on her upcoming venture titled, Satte Pe Satta remake. There is also a tittle-tattle that Anushka Sharma is also going to be a part of Farah’s project.
