Hrithik Roshan Donates Masks To BMC Worker And Caretakers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently declared a full lockdown in India, owing to the rise in the number of Coronavirus cases. He has urged the people to remain indoors and to keep a social distance.

India’s economy has been hit badly with stores, banks, entertainment sectors and all being shut down. Coronavirus epidemic has impacted the country not only emotionally but also financially. The daily wage earners are having a hard time, as the shops are being shut down.

Celebrities have come forward to support them and contribute a certain sum of money to the relief fund to fight through the tough time. Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan also offered a helping hand after Kapil Sharma, Rajinikanth, Pawan Kalyan and others.

He pledged to contribute both money and medical supplies. Announcing the news Hrithik said, “In times such as these, we must do whatever we can to ensure the safety of the most fundamental caretakers of our city and society. I have procured N95 and FFP3 masks for our BMC workers and other caretakers.”

The War actor further added, “My gratitude to @AUThackeray for giving me the opportunity to support the Maharashtra govt in their endeavor to curb the pandemic. It is our duty to help in whatever capacity we can. @mybmc #coronavirusoutbreak #stayhomestaysafe.”

Besides donating, fans have also been encouraged by celebrities to stay indoors to stay safe and take all precautionary steps and most importantly not to panic.
