How Ram Gopal Varma Owes His Career To Dawood Ibrahim

In a recent interview, Ram Gopal confessed that he owes his living to Dawood Ibrahim.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is known for making films on crimes and mostly the underworld. He has previously directed many gangster-based movies such as Satya, Company, and the Sarkar franchise. And now, his upcoming film titled ‘D Company’ is also of the same genre. Varma told that it is his dream project, and he has done extensive research on Dawood’s life to make the movie.

He also confessed that he owes his career to the most wanted underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. He said, “I owe my living to Dawood Ibrahim. I made a career out of making gangster films. Seriously speaking I have always been attracted to the dark side of human beings.”

Varma claims that his upcoming film D Company is very authentic as he had some insider sources. He said that most of his underworld knowledge on Dawood’s dealings came to him very recently and that he is capturing the story through insiders’ perspectives.
