Hindu Sainiks Rapidly Protest Against Film Laxmmi Bomb

Vishnu Gupta, who is the head of Hindu Sena, on behalf of Hindu Sainiks has written a letter to Prakash Javdekar urging them to change the film's title.

From past few days we are constantly seeing how the fans, Netizens, and twitteratis have united themselves together and are all set to make Laxmmi Bomb a flop film just like the brutal way they did for Sadak 2 and are trending twitter hashtags like #ShameOnUAkshayKumar, #BoyCottLaxmmiBomb, and many more. Now the latest update in the same is that even the Hindu Sainiks rapidly protest against film Laxmmi Bomb.

This is not a surprising bomb drop anymore looking at the way this film has been mired in controversies since its trailer got released on 9th October 2020, where majority of the fans and Netizens are angry and filled with rage as it is promoting the themes of Love Jihad and in this same league of protesting against the film, now even the Hindu Sainiks rapidly protest against film Laxmmi Bomb.

Most importantly it has to be noted that even the title of the film Laxmmi Bomb is being termed as very hurtful and offensive by the audiences, fans, the Netizens and even the Hindu Sena feels it is indirectly mocking and insulting our indian culture and goddess Laxmi who is very important in our Hindu mythology because of which now we are also seeing just how continuously even the Hindu Sainiks rapidly protest against film Laxmmi Bomb.

The Hindu Sena had apparently even written down a letter to the information and broadcast minister Prakash Javdekar which expressed their rage and anger for the film title.

As per the Hindu Sena, the film title is indirectly mocking and insulting our Hindu mythology goddess Lakshmi because of which they have now demanded the makers and producers to change the title of the film and if they don’t do it, then the sena has threatened and also given the makers a clear warning of protesting hugely outside the film theatres in India wherever Laxmmi Bomb is going to be released.

In their official letter to the information and broadcast minister Prakash Javdekar which has been released on twitter, they have clearly given a strict warning and also openly challenged the makers that if the title of the film is not changed, then they will be protesting outside the theatres wherever this film will be screened that to for real.

Vishnu Gupta who is the president of the Hindu Sena has said, “If our demand is not fulfilled, all my Hindu Sainiks shall protest against this movie outside every Cinema hall where this movie may be screened across the nation. I request everyone belonging to the Hindu community to boycott the movie, if the movie title is not changed before the release.”

The said letter read, “The name of the movie is highly derogatory and offensive in nature, the name of Hindu Goddess Laxmi, the goddess of fortune and wealth has been used in the movie title along with the word Bomb which is unacceptable to the Hindu community. In the said name of the movie Bomb word has been used to provoke the Hindu community”.

Vishnu Gupta’s tweet for the letter read, “Hindu Sena has given a complaint letter @PrakashJavdekar to take appropriate action against the promoters, cast and crew of the upcoming movie “Laxmmi Bomb” starring @akshaykumar and directed by Sh Raghava Lawrence for making mockery of Hindu Goddess Laxmi’s name, @ANI”.

The most important controversy stirring fact here is that why is Akshay’s character in the film named Asif while in original Tamil film Muni: Kanchana 2 which was released back in 2011, the character’s name was Raghav which is the biggest bone of contention due to which everyone is protesting for the film nationwide.

This film Laxmmi Bomb will be released on the renowned OTT streaming platform Disney + Hotstar VIP in India and globally on the 9th November 2020. Internationally it will be releasing globally in Australia, New Zealand, and UAE simultaneously. This film is being termed as a Diwali 2020 release.

Speaking about this film, Laxmmi Bomb is the official Hindi remake of the hit Tamil movie “Muni 2: Kanchana” (2011) which was made a few years back. Even back then this film had been directed by ace director Raghava Lawrence, who is also the director in this film as well. The film stars Akshay Kumar along with Kiara Advani and Sharad Kelkar. The other important star cast of the film has actors Aayesha Raza Mishra, Tusshar Kapoor, Tarun Arora, Ashwini Kalsekar and Manu Rishi as well.

In Laxmmi Bomb, this is said to be one of his most out of the box and yet a challenging characters till date as Akshay will be seen portraying the role of a transgender in the film.

The film has been produced by Fox Star Studios in association with Akshay Kumar’s Cape Of Good Films. The film has been directed by Raghava Lawrence which would be releasing in India digitally on Disney + Hotstar VIP and not in the theatres given the ongoing COVID 19 global pandemic.
