Everyone remembers the Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal starrer comedy-drama Hera Pheri. The film released 20 years ago to date enjoys a massive fan following. The masses loved the comedy timing of the three leads and a few side characters in the movie also garnered a lot of fame.
Even the second installment in the franchise titled Phir Hera Pheri released in 2006 also received a lot of praise from the audience and critics. Since then, everyone has been waiting for Hera Pheri 3 but alas, there’s sad news for all the fans.
For the unknown, the shoot of Hera Pheri 3 began in 2015 but without the two lead actors- Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. In fact, these two main leads were allegedly replaced by John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan. However, Paresh Rawal was retained for the third installment as well.
However, the financial problems took a toll and they had to stall the production of the film. The film was to resume shooting earlier this year but the COVID-19 pandemic threw the plans out of the window. Seems like, all of us have to wait for a little longer to see Hera Pheri 3 on the big screen.
