Fans are excited as Bunty Aur Babli 2 is hitting the theatres this week. Sequel to the 2005’s hit film stars Rani Mukerjee, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh in lead.
While Rani Mukerjee has returned as Babli in the sequel, Abhishek Bachchan has been replaced by Saif Ali Khan. And fans are wondering why!
Well, Bunty Aur Babli 2 was initially offered to Abhishek Bachchan but things didn’t work out.
In Dec 2019, when Rani signed the film, she gave a statement that reads, “Abhishek and I were both approached by #YRF to reprise our roles as the originals in Bunty Aur Babli 2 but, unfortunately, things didn’t work out with him and we will miss him dearly.”
Although fans are going to miss Abhishek Bachchan as Bunty, they are also excited to watch ‘Hum Tum’ co-stars getting back to create a laughter riot.
