After Ananya Panday’s debut movie in Bollywood Student Of The Year 2, she is now all set to entertain the audience with her upcoming movie Pati Patni Aur Woh which also stars Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. The film just wrapped up and the entire team was seen celebrating the same with a big bash. Though in the past Ananya a few times revealed how she had a crush on Kartik, he on various occasions is seen with Sara Ali Khan and rumours have it that the two are also dating.
Ananya in a recent interview shared her experience of working with Kartik in Pati Patni Aur Woh remake and also spoke about the rumours of the two dating. Talking about Kartik she said, “Kartik is one of my closest industry friends. He is funny and constantly made me laugh while shooting. We have a comfortable equation.” And on being asked about Sara Ali Khan she revealed, “Sara was my senior in school, the two of us were in the same house and participated in a lot of drama competitions.”
Ananya also gave details of her film, as she mentioned how this remake will include a number of things as times have changed since then. She also admitted that in the 1978 Sanjeev Kumar’s film the characters were a bit ‘regressive.’ But this film will also focus on the empowerment of women.
The film’s shooting was recently wrapped up in Lucknow, UP and the entire team including Ananya and Kartik were seen celebrating the same. Kartik even shared a couple of videos and photos, where he is seen smearing cake on Ananya’s face. Helmed by Mudassar Aziz and is produced by Juno Chopra, Kartik in the film will essay the role of Chintu Tyagi and the role of his wife will be helmed by Bhumi. Ananya will be seen playing the role of the hot secretary. Pati Patni Aur Woh will hit theatres on December 6, 2019.
