Here’s How Rishi Kapoor’s LAST Film Will Be Completed For Release

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was working on a film titled Sharmaji Namkeen and it was scheduled to release this year. Even after the diagnosis of Cancer, he was enthusiastic to go back on film sets and shoot for films. Sharmaji Namkeen rolled out last year and the shooting would have been completed if there was no lockdown due to coronavirus. Honey Trehan, Producer of the film told, “We shot a major portion of the film in Delhi during January. Only a four-day schedule was pending.” He said that after the demise of Rishi Kapoor they have a challenge of finishing the film without the lead actor. And they have a solution for it as well. He said, “We will be using advanced technology, an amalgamation of VFX and some special technique, to finish the film without compromising on the quality. We are in discussion with a few [VFX studios] and are figuring out the way forward.” Makers of the film are pretty interested to release this film. Trehan said, “We want to take this film to the theatres for his friends, family and fans. We all owe this to Rishiji, one of the silver screen legends. I am grateful to Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar for investing in the movie not just monetarily, but also emotionally.” Sharmaji Namkeen stars Juhi Chawla and Rishi Kapoor, a superhit Jodi that worked together in films like Bol Radha Bol and Eena Meena Deega.
